Why Double Divas Got An F

But how much of the episode did we manage to watch?

Show Attempted: Double Divas.

Topic: Friends and entrepreneurs Molly and Cynthia have made it their life's mission to help every woman who crosses their paths to be fitted for the right size bra.

How Far I Expected To Get: Given that the issue of women going through life with their breasts insufficiently contained in bras that aren't the right size for them (generally, in such cases, the bra is too small) is extremely important to me, and having been unexpectedly delighted by such recent Lifetime reality offerings as Pretty Wicked Moms and Supermarket Superstar, I thought Season 2 might be the right time for me to give Double Divas a shot.

How Far I Did Get

What Did It: I felt myself starting to pull away from the episode when it started with the dark-haired one saying she's been asked to perform a choreographed ballroom dance for a charity event, because...has she? Then the blonde-haired one says she's gotten them special dance training outfits to wear, and they're these silly '80s aerobics get-ups that are obviously supposed to look goofy in marketing for the show. And then when the dark-haired one's partner shows up and starts teaching her the routine, the dark-haired one is so obnoxious and boisterous that she disrupts a private lesson in the next studio that's being taught by...Abby Lee Miller?! From Lifetime's Dance Moms? The show that was on right before this? What are you doing here?! Abby then takes over teaching the choreography, and on top of the contrivance of these titans of Lifetime reality programming happening to run into each other like this, she's bossy and mean, and goodbye.

Worth Taking Another Run At It? I didn't even get to a bra fitting, but if they have to frame the supposed point of the show with this much baloney, I'll just keep watching What Not To Wear. While I still can.
