Hollywood Game Night Throws Another Battle Of The Sexes

And Cheryl Hines teaches your commentator to be more tolerant of moms.

Most Deserved Celebrity Burn

Seriously. A pullover hoodie and jeans? Even if you were coming straight from the gym, you could have put a change of clothes in your car.

Worst First Impression

Jonathan is the captain of the men's team and gets off to kind of a rough start.

Buddy, is the issue that you can't read? Because coming on this show is a weird cry for help. Adding to Jonathan's shame...

...a perfect first round for the ladies' team.

Shadiest Conspiracy Theory

Given that these buzzer podiums appear to be made of balsa wood and plastic book report covers, it would not surprise me one bit to learn that these celebrities' complaints about buzz-nanigans -- in two different games -- are legit.

I feel like possibly they're leaving the decisions up to the judges as to who's faster to buzz in? I don't even kind of trust that they're wired to each other so that one player's buzz locks out the opponent's. Sean Hayes, please get out ahead of this story before I have to call the FCC.

Worst Game

You can tell me all you want that Song Sung Wrong wasn't conceived by Jane Lynch as proof that she's just as good a singer as Lea Michele, but I won't believe you. It's a total vanity play on her part and it's tough to watch.

Her rock faces! Crrrrrrrrringe.

Best Game

I'm so glad everything comes down to Off The Top Of My Head because it's one of my favourite games AND a great way for the eventual winner to vet potential players for the Bonus Round.

And it ends up being so suspenseful! A well-earned victory for Jennifer and the women's team, to be sure.

Best Teamwork

Case in point: Michael Chiklis and Cheryl Hines would NEVER have been my bonus round picks before Off The Top Of My Head, but they both stayed focused and calm in that game, which gave Jennifer a good preview of how chill they'd be for the final.

Cheryl, I dismissed you early on for having Mom Head in Block Busters. I take it all back: you are pure grace under pressure and this victory for Jennifer is more than half yours for sure.
