Jumpsuit And The Sockless
Which celebrity wore the most inappropriate outfit, and more superlatives from the latest episodes of Hollywood Game Night!
Best New Game
In the second of the night's two episodes, everything comes down to the brand-new game Link In The Chain, which is like a combination of Celebrity (giving verbal clues) and Simon (remembering a sequence). It's weirdly thrilling to watch...
...right up until the moment when a maybe-drunk Michael Weatherly totally chokes.
Worst New Game
Four Letter Words definitely isn't any fun to watch; it doesn't look like it's very much fun to play, either. This one can go on the woodpile.
Most Likable Loser
Without giving away the outcome before you watch the clip, I'll say that the reaction of the civilian player who's not going to the bonus round resonated very deeply with me.
Also adorable: Cobie Smulders racing up to get her next clue, realizing that her team's just won, and running around like a loon in celebration. My people!
Least Likable Loser
I submit that if you can't identify a celebrity you're told is the most recent Batman, you have no business being on a pop culture game show.
Most In Need Of A Spinoff
Clue-Boom (in its second outing last night) is probably always delightful to watch, but I'm extra-happy that it included a round of Smulders vs. (her husband) Taran Killam.
I could watch them for a half-hour every day. Get on it, King World.
Best Dressed Celebrity
You know I don't support the wearing of high-heeled shoes on HGN BUT I appreciate that Mayim Bialik has either stuck with the principles she learned as a contributor (makeover subject) on What Not To Wear or is heeding the advice of a stylist she met through The Big Bang Theory. And she takes her shoes off for Smash The Buzzer, so it's fine.
Worst Dressed Celebrity
It takes doing to stand out as the worst dressed in an episode where two guys show up sockless and the third feels sufficiently peer-pressured to take his off.
Spike heels paired with a strapless bustier JUMPSUIT. Way to go, Mel B.
