The CN Tower Was On Suits This Week
Don't make the same mistake our commentator did and get way too excited about it.
Remember last week when I did that forensic examination of the Toronto skyline as seen over various characters' shoulders in a rooftop lunch spot on Suits? Well, this week they made Toronto-spotting a hell of a lot easier for me.
Yes, that's Roy Thomson Hall, and a TTC streetcar, and the Elephant & Castle, and...the CN Tower. But just when I was starting to gloat that the show's location scouts had just given up, there was Darby (Conleth Hill) getting out of a car and commenting to Jessica (Gina Torres) that it was such a coincidence to run into her in Toronto. HOWEVER, we do hear the line as his back is turned, so I'm going to pretend they had to ADR it due to how expensive it would be to CG out all those identifying landmarks and yes I know there are several other references in the episode to people flying to other countries to deliver news but...okay, fine.
Well, Louis (Rick Hoffman) is supposed to be jogging in New York when he comes upon these two lovely ladies.
He's going to have a hard time finding them again, though; that's Galerie Christin on the right and Shoppers Drug Mart on the left, because he's actually at Yonge and King. In Toronto. He should say hi to Jessica.
