Selina's presidential campaign is officially underway which makes the characters' baseline "crisis mode" attitudes are heightened even higher than usual. Selina and staff are forced to interact with Real People working on the campaign; Selina has to spend an annoying weekend trying to manage rival candidate Maddox and steer him toward being the undercard on a Meyer ticket (which...nope); and the post of campaign manager is still up for grabs, with Amy and Dan both waging their own campaign for...campaign manager. Emotions are at a fever pitch. Which may be why poker face effectiveness is at an all-time low.
When confronted with the threat of losing his job over a shoulder injury due to the weight of Selina's bag, Gary instantly throws Mike under the bus. Did Selina know that Mike has been jerking off at work! It's because he's been pursuing IVF with his new wife, but still, Selina's face speaks for us all.
