Broad City's Kirk Steele Is A Christmas Gift (Giffed)

Any number of sitcoms have mined filthy, filthy humour from the subject of masturbation, from Roseanne to Friends to Seinfeld to...I guess literally any sitcom that was written after about 1990 and aired on a channel other than Disney Jr.? But what sets Broad City apart from the rest is that if you see a Kirk Steele in the first act, he's gonna go off in the third, and when I say he's gonna go off, I mean he's gonna go AAAAAAAAAWWWWWWFF.

What happens is: Ilana carves some time out of her day for a little self-care -- candles, a mirror, a photo of Abbi on her phone's camera roll, and a selection from her current favourite genre of filth: solo porn. So you can imagine her shock and delight when her latest search brings her to a clip of a certain "Kirk Steele," who looks extremely familiar.

The A-plot of the episode revolves around Ilana sharing Trey's scandalous past with Abbi, Abbi leveraging it first to get Trey back for all his pube-intensive torture...

...and then to make him let her teach a class...

...and then to scramble to come up with her half of the cost of a replacement mirror. All of that is so smart and stupid and generally entertaining that by the time you get to the episode's closing credits, you might actually have forgotten all about Kirk Steele's solo porn video. But Abbi and Ilana didn't. Behold: Kirk Steele's greatest hits (and greatest bits).
