  • I mean, you're here to do work, I'm here to do work -- like, we didn't sign up for a sideshow.
  • I think Liz, kind of-- her behaviour is definitely below me, and I don't want to be associated with a person who behaves that way in public.
  • I didn't even know about [my girlfriend's eating disorder]. I mean, that's where I just feel like the biggest idiot, and like I could have helped her. I mean, she was twenty, and I was, you know, you know, thirty-four or whatever...But we lived together for over a year, and I didn't know at all.
  • I'm attracted to her, like, 'cause, you know-- Abbey and I, we get along, we balance each other out....
  • To say that I tell Abbey what to do -- it's not that way.
  • I don't tell you what to do, I don't order you around, I don't control you. I just don't....I don't want to, and I've said that from Day 1 of our relationship....I want you to be an equal. I have tried to empower you as a woman as much as I can. It isn't a control thing, because I hate it. Like, I hate when I have to tell you what to do. You know that.
  • She's got her own preconceived notions and ideas about me. That's the hard part....You're going to have to help her understand that, because she's not going to listen to me. You should have stood up and said no.
  • It came across as 'She's right, and shut up.' And that's not what I wanted.
  • I'm confident in my ability to climb the climbing wall, but I have to do it tethered with Abbey. So I don't know how this is going to work out.
  • [after spinning his girlfriend around on a rope that attached them together until she fell] "Get used to being tethered. That was your fault. Don't embarrass me.
  • Just listen to her. Focus. Get in the game.
  • Get on the wall. Get on the wall. Get your foot on that wood ledge. Move one leg at a time. Find a point, and move another point....Go for that one up there. No. That one. Other hand. Left hand! Up there. Left hand. There you go. Higher -- there you go. More of a grip. No no no, left foot. Don't move that. Left foot on that green thing.
  • Now, right foot on the next green thing.
  • Babe. Right foot...bigger green thing....Babe, come on!
  • How much better do you feel? Thank her.
  • The challenge for me was, I wasn't allowed to say anything. Which is the hardest part.
  • Nobody wants to be around negativity, especially when we're all working on ourselves.
