Clue Is All Around
With its hundredth episode last night, Psych presented a parody of Clue: The Movie -- featuring several of the original film's stars -- complete with an homage in the form of presenting the audience with multiple endings on which they could vote. Thus, Psych not only offered up some impressive fan service; it also helped to make 2/3 of a trend. You see, Community did its own Clue: The Movie spoof last month. So all it takes to make the Clue thing a true trend is for just one more show to jump on it. But WHICH? Maybe one of these.
White Collar
On a dark and stormy night, Neal (Matthew Bomer) and Peter (Tim DeKay) get invited to a dinner party by a mysterious art collector. Each time the lights go out, a different Old Master in the house ends up slashed! Looks like the owner is in for a big insurance payday...until Neal confirms that all the paintings are counterfeit, and Peter determines that the owner and his box cutter-wielding butler were in cahoots.
Project Runway
The designers work in teams to create looks based on the movie's iconic, colour-coded characters. But one team clashes over the interpretation of Miss Scarlett: should she be in red, like on the game box, or in black, like in the movie?!
Archer
When Cheryl's brother Shelburne Tunt (voice of Nick Kroll) invites Cheryl to a dinner party on a dark and stormy night, she brings Archer (voice of H. Jon Benjamin) as her date because he wants to visit her ocelot. But Archer soon regrets tagging along when Shelburne's other guests start getting murdered, and Shelburne issues increasingly paranoid announcements from inside his armored panic room.
Degrassi
In the 2013 Hallowe'en special, Eli (Munro Chambers) decides to direct his own take on the Clue story, but has a hard time keeping the production together when his actors start dropping out, one by one, due to extremely unusual accidents, and suspects sabotage from a vengeful Clare (Aislinn Paul).
Doomsday Preppers
One very motivated survivalist in Utah explains that he's preparing his family for a targeted series of suspect murders by an unseen millionaire and his henchmen.
