NBC Yanks Ready For Love
Just when we were starting to kind of tell the three love-seeking guys apart (which one was in a band or something? The Spanish one? But there are two Spanish ones!), NBC has decided that America's had enough of Ready For Love.
Obviously, I am sorry not to get to see a whole season of increasingly crazy crazyfaces. And of course, it's heartbreaking to think that there is literally no way we'll ever know whether Travis, Ernesto, and/or Ben found the loves of their lives from among the applicants selected for them by the show's three matchmakers -- yes, that's how the show worked, and yet somehow America did not embrace its absurdly complex format. But what's even sadder is that we're being robbed of seeing the three guys and their (collectively) twenty-four possible soulmates on a series of awkward, high-concept group dates!
We already saw a recording session, an afternoon of construction on a Habitat for Humanity house, and a "tough mudder"-type run, which were fine. But here's a list of the formats we'd been hoping to see -- and if the producers of any other reality dating shows happen to be reading and want to put these to good use, they are officially up for grabs.
