Street Style

Of course it's hard to time shots in order not to have TTC streetcars in them. But Suits should try.

This week's Suits gave me a break from scrutinizing skyscrapers in the backgrounds of shots and comparing them to lists of Toronto's tallest buildings, so thanks for that, dudes. Instead, Toronto was easily spotted at street level, saving my eyes for at least one more week.

New York street corners have little coffee carts like the one behind Mike (Patrick J. Adams), whereas Toronto generally does not (or they didn't when I lived there; they may have moved in sometime in the last six years). However, New York does not have Rogers Plus stores, as partially seen just to the right of Mike's head in this shot.

New York also does not have TTC streetcars.

There's some more behind Dennis (Gary Cole).

And here is a detail from a shot of Harvey (Gabriel Macht) crossing in front of a sign for Bay Adelaide Centre, which is how "Center" is spelled in not America.

If he's on his way to grab himself a Great Canadian Bagel or an Extreme Pita, I hate to tell him that since it's nighttime, they're both probably closed.
