Leah Remini Becomes An Apostate Hero On 20/20
But smart women were making foolish choices everywhere else on TV this weekend.
I'll be honest: I watch so much TV that I'm not as much of a "reader" as I used to be. But Leah Remini just lined me up as a customer for her new memoir Troublemaker by...um, going on TV to talk about it. My weekend kicked off right with the hour Remini spent on 20/20 talking about her experience in and out of the Church Of Scientology; if you missed it, the whole thing is up on ABC's website; here's Part 1.

Basically everywhere else on TV, though, women were failing to cover themselves in glory.
- Philip Michaels had some harsh words for Lori Greiner for her idiotic comments on women in STEM on the latest Shark Tank.
- Jeff Alexander straight-up did not comprehend Baird's jumpsuit on The Librarians.
- All the mail-order brides of 90 Day Fiancé have maybe made rash decisions with regard to their marital prospects, but only Noon is in an active battle with roaches, as Stephanie Green reports.
- Brenda sets back the cause of women in the workforce with her smarmy sales tactics in the latest Again With This podcast on Beverly Hills, 90210.
- And married correspondents Lisa Schmeiser and the aforementioned Philip Michaels are concerned about Alison's recklessness with her assistant gig after this week's installment of The Affair. (But don't worry: Noah's choices all remain even worse than hers).
