Survivors Move Beaches, Couples Move Into Therapy And Everyone Moves In To The American Horror Story: Hotel

Everyone's figuring out where to hang their paintings and/or machetes in Lunch And A Show!

All over TV last night, people were packing up to move out or move up -- starting with Survivor, which only waited two episodes before messing with its established tribal structure. As Jessica Liese reports, two tribes became three, and the brand-new Angkor tribe were dispatched to a new beach. Which sucked! "Angkor beach is even less well-appointed than Savage feared. They've got a flint and a machete but pretty much nothing else." How did their stripped-down living conditions contribute to the new tribe's success at the immunity challenge? Uh...could have been better.

Also moving in were the unlucky-in-love "celebrities" subjecting themselves to a new season of Couples Therapy. Chanel Dubofsky reports on the two-part event: first, Janice Dickinson used an offense against Carmen Carrera to flip shit in the couples' first session; then, she continues resisting Dr. Jenn's help and advice in the second hour. I hesitate to suggest this but maybe Janice is not a great candidate for therapy? And/or shouldn't try to do it on TV? Or anything on TV, anymore?

FX also premiered the latest season of its horror anthology series, and everyone on earth was moving in to American Horror Story: Hotel. If you're a student of what the FCC will and will not permit to air on basic cable, this is a fascinating episode: both raggedy eye sockets AND men's butts are apparently fine now! So far I'm mostly here for all the hot mens -- I enjoyed seeing so much of Matt Bomer (if you know what I mean) and look forward to Cheyenne Jackson taking off a few layers too -- with an extremely honourable mention to Denis O'Hare's Liz Taylor.

WORK THAT CAFTAN, GURL.

And since we're talking about move-ins, let's dig into the TV archives and revisit the case of Crying Pam, now and forever the most notorious participant in Trading Spaces history.
