Oh, kid, I'm so sorry. Of course we knew this was a possibility since "Laura" isn't a Universal property, but it's still a rotten way to start your weekend.
I know it's hard, but try to focus on the task at hand: bring your very best to Marjorie and make "Dirty Dancing" the smash (haha) we both know it will be. If you can, treat yourself to a heartbreak ice cream cone in that beautiful North Carolina scenery and when I'm back in the office I'll get cracking on finding you your next great project! hugs!

I don't know why i ever thought I should approve an assistant's vacation requst during upfront except that maybe i never thought there was a chance laura wouldn't get renewed -- WHY WOULD I
Anyway I know you're out of the country but, bad nws, nbc says it's cancelng Laura and we wnt get a season3
Tom says theirs nothing to be done but i dont agree.
i need you to find the laura fan communities onlineand go in there undercover and get them going ona fan campaign to convince nbc to uncancel the show
miht be a little much to get them to sned the nbc offices diamons lol but maybe they cld send ring pops???

Just landed in Cabo but I was thinking about "Laura" the whole flight.
Mariska has a lot of pull at the network; could she make some kind of a stink?

I'm so sorry about "Laura." I know how much you loved the production and that character and it's always sad to close a chapter of your life when it's not your choice.

Thanks for asking. She woke up briefly this afternoon and it seemed like she knew my mother. She's a big fan of yours so she'd be happy to know you'd asked after her if she still had all her faculties. The doctors say it won't be long now.

Hi Debra,
It seems like since Warner Bros. has gone on record that they're not looking to shop "Laura" to other networks, the Diamonds have made it to the "acceptance" stage of their grieving already. I logged in earlier with a couple of my fan accounts to try to spark revolutionary action, but there didn't seem to be too many takers. Unfortunately, I probably won't be available for much follow-up over the next few days because my grandmother passed away early this morning and I'll be helping my mother and aunts out with the funeral planning.

Jessica, I am heartbroken for your loss. i feel very lucky and proud to have been able to give you this time off to be with your family during your bereeavement
