All The Single Detectives, Put Your Hands Up!
Thanks to Boyle, you'll never try to get through another quarantine without mounting a talent show.
When a mysterious package of white powder shows up at the 99th precinct in the seconds before everyone's about to leave for Thanksgiving, one would assume everyone's holiday is definitely going to be ruined by...the lockdown that immediately descends on the station. And, to be fair, it's not great: the heat's not working, civilians are trapped with snitches and other shady characters, the only food available is whatever random stuff got delivered right before the barriers went up, and Jake is in charge. But just because you happen to find yourself trapped in a police department at a time you're supposed to be enjoying time with family doesn't mean you can't make the best of things! For instance: what if you helped pass the time by putting on a talent show? Pretty sure I'd say this was a great idea even if Boyle hadn't just learned the "Single Ladies" dance. But, god love him, he did.
You can tell a man has been touched by the muses when his moves are so infectious that even the prostitutes in lockdown can't help joining in.
Bonus That Moment: Holt maintaining his trademark equanimity while bouncing on an exercise ball.
