Are You Thinking What Clone High Is Thinking? MAKEOVER!

Makeover makeover, makeover makeover, makeover makeover MAKE O VER!!!

The penultimate episode of Clone High's one and only season does not, it must be said, contain much in the way of plot -- less, even, than one finds in most episodes. Really, we're all just crawling toward the various pre-prom storyline setups: will Scudworth get his revenge on his high school nemesis STAMOS?! Will Gandhi find a betty to escort/dry hump? And, most importantly, will Abe ask Cleo or Joan?

Along the way, there are makeovers.

Lots of them.

And here they all are.

In fact, there are so many makeovers that they actually started with the previous episode's lead-out tribute to one of my all-time favourite movies, The Royal Tenenbaums.

Abe kicks off the makeovering by giving Joan a look fit for a bedpan.

JFK demonstrates how serious he is about winning $5 from that handsome fella in the mirror: teaching Gandhi how to talk like a Kennedy (while Gandhi gives himself a butt to match).

Toots may be blind, but he knows how to give Joan a new look that will win over her heretofore platonic best friend. Radial tires are involved. When Cleo takes over from him -- she didn't know! Joan didn't have a mom! -- things improve...barely.

But you can't argue with results! (You can, but Joan won't -- at least, for the moment.)

Even Scudworth and Mr. Butlertron get in on--

Actually, never mind. It all leads up to this:

That's what I call a very SPECIAL cliffhanger.
