Live, From A Couple Of Couches...

Two-thirds of the celebrities on the latest Hollywood Game Night are SNL alumni -- but are any of them good at party games?

Best Game To Watch

How Do You Doo, because of how much fun the stars have selling their clues in what is really their only chance in the show to perform.

Best Game To Steal For Your Next Game Night

Take A Hint, which is sort of like a rapid-fire Password.

Best Game To Play Along With

CBI, in which you have to identify cross-sectioned chocolate bars. It's fun to play along with because the viewer doesn't get the clue at the bottom of the screen AND because it's actually...kind of hard.

Best Celebrity Player

I guess Jason Sudeikis, who gets a couple of Celebrity Fusion pictures pre-clue; Coco does pick him for the bonus round, and though they don't win, I feel like it's mostly her fault. (Hilarious moment of synchronicity: when the name Nancy Pelosi came up, I finished saying, "Coco doesn't know who that is" about one microsecond before Sudeikis passed it. Hee.) But none of them are actually that great this week.

Most Entertaining Celebrity Player

Amy Poehler, who commits to all the games, has funny interactions with all the players, drinks on camera, and makes the gracious move of standing and politely shaking hands when her team captain, Michael, is introduced. Contrast her sterling behaviour with that of Dax Shepard, who midway through the first game refers to Michael as "my person" because why bother learning a non-celebrity's name, and suggests of the Celebrity Fusion game, "No more mixing black and white." Dude, spend a second thinking before you open your mouth and don't make me have to re-revise the good reputation you finally earned through Parenthood.

Anyway, back to Poehler: I'm not thrilled that she wore heels, but they really didn't seem to slow her down; none of this week's games was that physical anyway.

"Most Ebullient" Celebrity Player

Sudeikis. I know that, at this point, it looks as though he and Poehler are tied.

But, uh...then I think he pulls away.
