Phil Comes Within Inches Of Befowling Claire

It seems like Modern Family producers are still making it up to Julie Bowen for writing her into that the New Year's Eve sex-a-thon: this week, Claire (Bowen) barely interacts with Phil (Ty Burrell) at all, except to scold him for overstuffing the freezer, leaving a turkey to fall on her foot and, supposedly, almost break her toe. He brushes her off and goes to play golf. Good call, Phil.
